Schools pilot, recruiting now. The numbers on this page are samples until you change them.

Turn the inquiries you already get into students.

A separate pilot for small music schools with open teaching hours. We look at where prospects go quiet between the first message and the first month, then fix one step at a time, alongside the system you already use.

If every teacher is full and there's a waiting list, you don't need this. Your problem is a good one.

Where inquiries go quiet

Four steps sit between a parent's first message and a student's first month. Each one loses people for a different reason, and each one can be measured.

  1. Reply

Answer before they ask someone else

Inquiries arrive on evenings and weekends. A reply on Monday afternoon may be answering a parent who booked elsewhere on Sunday.

Measured as time to first reply.

  2. Match

Offer a slot a teacher actually has

Instrument, level, location and an open time, settled before anyone promises a trial.

Measured as inquiries that book a trial.

  3. Trial

    Get them through the door

A confirmation, a reminder the day before, and directions to the right room.

Measured as booked trials that show up.

  4. After

    Follow up while it's fresh

A note the same day with a real weekly slot and a start date, not a general “let us know.”

Measured as trials that enrol, and revenue by source.

Who the schools pilot is for

A good fit if you

  • get new inquiries every month, from your site, ads, referrals or walk-ins
  • have teachers with open hours you'd like to fill
  • suspect prospects slip away between the inquiry and the first lesson
  • can walk us through your last 30 inquiries, with names removed if you prefer

Not a fit if you

  • are full, with a waiting list. More inquiries won't help.
  • want to replace your scheduling or billing software. The pilot works alongside it.
  • get a handful of inquiries a year. There's too little to measure.

How the 60-day schools pilot runs

Baseline first, then one change at a time, so you can tell what actually worked.

  1. Weeks 1–2

Walk through your last 30 inquiries

Where each one came from, how fast it got a reply, and where it stopped. That's the baseline.

  2. Weeks 3–4

    Fix the biggest leak

Start with the step that loses the most people, using the system you already have.

  3. Weeks 5–6

    Fix the next one

Only once the first change has had time to show up in the numbers.

  4. Weeks 7–8

    Compare like with like

Same measures, against comparable weeks, so a busy season isn't mistaken for a fix.
